William J. Simmons is a Los Angeles-based writer. He is the author of Queer Formalism: The Return.
Judith Brodsky is an activist, curator, writer, and Distinguished Professor Emerita, Visual Arts, Rutgers University. She is also a printmaker and artist with work in many museum collections including the Victoria & Albert Museum in London which just featured her print, Dishrag Diagrammatic, in its series on objects in the museum (April 2023). She is executor of Miriam Schapiro’s estate.
Carrie Moyer is an artist, writer, and co-director of the MFA Program in Studio Art at Hunter College. With Sue Schaffner, she co-founded one of the first lesbian public art projects, Dyke Action Machine! (1991-2008). Moyer’s paintings and agitprop have been exhibited widely in the US and Europe. She is represented by DC Moore Gallery in New York City, where she lives and works.
Lisa Wainwright is an art historian, curator, and professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she served as dean of faculty for 10 years. Lisa has published and lectured on topics from Rauschenberg and the history of the found object in art, to contemporary art and feminism.
Komal Shah is an activist, collector, and philanthropist. She developed the Shah Garg Collection with a focus on women artists. Komal is focused on amplifying the voices of artists through a talk series she developed at Stanford, Artists on the Future, and the forthcoming publication Making Their Mark: Art by Women in the Shah Garg Collection.
